EV Charger Installation in Sunnyvale and Surrounding Areas, One Crew Across the South Bay
Serving Santa Clara County and the Peninsula edge, including Mountain View, Santa Clara, Cupertino, Los Altos, Palo Alto and San Jose.
The radius
A Deliberate Thirty-Minute Radius Around Sunnyvale
Sunnyvale EV Charger Installation works out of Sunnyvale and covers the ring of cities around it. That means Mountain View and Santa Clara daily, Cupertino and Los Altos constantly, Palo Alto and Menlo Park to the northwest, San Jose, Campbell, Saratoga, Los Gatos and Monte Sereno to the south, and Milpitas, Fremont and Newark once you cross 237 and 880. Redwood City, East Palo Alto and Atherton round out the northern edge. The radius is deliberate. A crew that stays inside a thirty-minute drive keeps its arrival windows honest, and a crew that knows how a given city's permit counter behaves does not lose a week to paperwork.
Local Knowledge
Each city here has its own housing pattern and its own inspection culture. Sunnyvale's older tracts hide 100-amp services behind remodeled kitchens. Cupertino has long driveways and detached garages that turn into conduit-length conversations. Palo Alto's permit process runs differently from Santa Clara's. Knowing that before quoting keeps the price from moving later.
Response Time
Our trucks stage along the 101 and Lawrence Expressway corridor, so appointments in Mountain View, Santa Clara and Sunnyvale land in the same day without anyone crossing the valley twice. That is why a morning window means morning. Load checks are usually available within a few days and installs within the same week.
Coverage
The whole map runs through one number and one team. A condo garage in Redwood City and a fleet yard in Milpitas both start at (408) 317-9189, and the same people handle your load check, your permit, your install and your inspection. Nothing gets handed to a branch office or a subcontractor you never met.
Cities We Install In, and What Each One Usually Needs
SunnyvalePrimary
Mathilda Ave and El Camino Real
Home base, with same-week scheduling on most residential installs and full permitting through the city.
Mountain View
Central Expy and Shoreline Blvd
Heavy townhome and condo work here, where load sharing usually beats one dedicated circuit per stall.
Santa Clara
Lawrence Expy and SR-82
Santa Clara is served by Silicon Valley Power rather than PG&E, and we handle that difference in the paperwork.
Cupertino
Stevens Creek Blvd and Wolfe Rd
Long driveways and detached garages make conductor sizing and voltage drop the deciding factor on most quotes.
Los Altos
Foothill Expy and San Antonio Rd
Larger lots, longer runs, and frequent panel upgrades on homes that never needed the capacity before.
Palo Alto
US 101 and Embarcadero Rd
City-run utility and its own permit rhythm, both of which we plan around rather than discover.
San Jose
I-880 and SR-87
Everything from single-family installs to multi-stall commercial banks, across a very wide range of housing ages.
Campbell
SR-17 and Hamilton Ave
Compact lots and shared driveways where charger placement matters as much as the circuit.
Saratoga
Saratoga Ave and SR-9
Hillside properties with long service runs, where we often recommend a garage subpanel over a single long circuit.
Milpitas
I-880 and Calaveras Blvd
Strong demand for workplace and fleet charging along the industrial corridor.
Los Gatos
SR-17 and Los Gatos Blvd
Older homes with modest services, so the load calculation frequently drives the whole conversation.
Menlo Park
US 101 and Willow Rd
Residential installs and small commercial lots, both permitted through the city.
Redwood City
US 101 and Woodside Rd
Significant multi-family stock where submetering is usually the cleanest answer.
Fremont
I-880 and Mission Blvd
Large residential coverage plus fleet and workplace projects on the east side of the bay.
Newark
SR-84 and Thornton Ave
Commercial and light-industrial charging alongside standard residential Level 2 work.
East Palo Alto
US 101 and University Ave
Residential and multi-family installs, with particular attention to incentive eligibility.
Monte Sereno
SR-9 and Saratoga Los Gatos Rd
Low-density properties with long runs and frequent service upgrades.
Atherton
El Camino Real and Middlefield Rd
Large properties, detached structures, and multi-unit charging for households with several EVs.
How One Team Covers This Much Map
We do not spread thin. The service area is drawn at roughly a thirty-minute radius from Sunnyvale because that is the distance where a promised arrival window survives contact with actual South Bay traffic. Crews are routed by corridor rather than by zip code, so a day might run Sunnyvale to Santa Clara to Cupertino without anyone doubling back across the valley. That routing is why load checks can usually happen within a few days of the call.
The other half is administrative. Different cities in this area run their electrical permits differently, and a contractor who only works one of them tends to lose time in the others. We file in Sunnyvale most often, but we permit regularly in Mountain View, Santa Clara, Cupertino, Palo Alto, San Jose and the rest of the list, and we know which of them want the load calculation attached at submission. That knowledge keeps installs on schedule.
Every Service, Everywhere on This Map
All eight services are available in every city listed above, on the same terms and at the same standard.
